Back from another 'Photowalk' its funny that so far all the other people that have been on the photowalks have had Canons lol.
Anyway today was the TEST, I shot 90% of the day with the old 80-400VR with a Kenko 1.4 TC. Most were handheld except the last few bird shots. I must say that I am impressed although focus is slow I managed to catch birds tossing small fish around in their mouths so thats not too bad. Anyway here are the shots.
This is when we arrived, we got hammered by mosquitos and sand flies even though we covered ourselves in toxic stuff, they seemed immune. That light you can see is fisherman they braved the waters at night and walked across, there are large salt water crocodiles there but we never saw any

This is the 'Barrage' its what keeps the salt water salty and the fresh water fresh its also a great place for Crocs to hang out at low tide as fish risk the gauntlet.
