Hey Scott, bummer about the Tamron.
Mine has stopped playing up for now, I spoke to a guy at the local camera shop, he said to take it to them and they would send it away for me ( I bought it off them )
My warranty runs out in April, so I want to get it resolved before then, but if its not playing up when I send it in, I am not sure they will do anything with it.

Its a gloomy 25th January 2017, I have awoken from my sleep to find the power go off (only a short time) and grey skies. So out comes my 90mm macro lens again.

Well today I managed to get a beautiful sunrise.

27th January 2017. I was going to get out and take some photos when I woke up, but alas that was not meant to be. Woken by a clap of thunder by the time I showered and got ready it was already bucketing down. Although we do need the rain so it is welcome.

Beautiful one minute, crappy the next. But you can't knock back the rain Scott, without it everything dies.....

we have had more rain this month than the last 4 years, this time last year Cali state was in 45% Exceptional Drought, today its 50% Extreme, going down its severe then moderate and dry, they say it will probably be in a moderate state when all the mountain snow melts? so its looking good. 12 week weather is showing more rain until April albeit its Northern Cali and the high mountains.

I am really close I could touch them quite easily.
