i take it they are her baby hawks?, she flew from there to where i pictured her and then flew away looking more food, i seen her going back in that direction when i was walking back to the car.

here's a few from todays Scottish Highland games in Vista California

You have to wonder about guys who throw telephone poles around. That is always the event my husband likes to watch when we go to highland games.

most of the cabers did go forward, a few went backwards and scattered the other competitors, also one of the guys tossing the straw bale up and over the bar, threw it into the crowd, I had both eyes open taking pictures after that.

One of the best times we had at the Schenectady highland games was when the sheep got loose in the vendor area. You should have seen all those sheep dogs just corral the sheep back to their pen. It was a hoot.

Photographing pipers and pipebands is a whole lot easier than trying to record them, that's for sure.

The chanters can get shrill-sounding and the drones get wobbly. Where the mics are placed is very, very important.

is this the newest Nikon member?? I don't know if this was a good move or not, took pictures of everyone and everything, well at least I may have a use for my old D60 55-200mm
