Carissa grandiflora, Natal plum. There are many cultivars. The fruit is edible and is used for jellies, pies, jams, etc; all the rest of the plant is poisonous.

I was thinking coco plum. The leaves look the same, but the fruit is a bit rounder.

I think the streak is a helicopter? just trying a few different PP settings.

I couldn't get anything in the background for the spider, nice little Townsend Warbler jumping about the trees today.

a beautiful sunny day when I left for Yorba Rec park, got of the freeway and could see clouds coming, that was the end of the sun.

wood duck isn't just as colorful in the shady haze.
