took these to id them, the sparrow was singing its head of, pity it was between the sun and my vantage point.

I had a hard time focusing on the hummer, ended up hitting the branch to get it.

lots of Butterflies about today, missed a large orange one, he flew of before I could get a focus on him.

Carissa grandiflora, Natal plum. There are many cultivars. The fruit is edible and is used for jellies, pies, jams, etc; all the rest of the plant is poisonous.

here's me thinking along the lines of Hibiscus? that's the only one I know.
