Finally caught up Roy. I have trouble keeping up with your thread on a daily basis, but going away for three days really put me back. Good job!

Ryan and i took a run out LA direction to Yorba. Got to the carpark and there was a older man having battery trouble, he had a lead to start the car via the ciggy lighters, said he has dont this before OK, didnt work this time, had to let him use my cell phone to contact AAA, He was gone when we did a lap of the 3 lakes.

spotted this flying past me down the river, never paid it much attention (wish i did) took a few shots anyway, after reading my book i think its a spotted sandpiper???????

i wait to be correctly informed. lol (this iding sucks).

probably a really rare Anna's lol

Actually looks like a black-chinned -- they have that wide white collar beneath the gorget. Did you see any color on the top of its head? I have seen a few at Yorba, but they are pretty rare.

my first thoughts was its a Downey, but the beak is too large.
