got to San Jacinto about 6:15, no clouds about for a nice sunrise, but i did see the Harrier dip into a pond then fly off and land in a far field, never saw it again.

Funnel spider??

put my Bug spray on and ventured up Mosquito alley for the first time, never got bit so dont know if they were there or the spray worked???

But billions of gnats about, flycatchers were having a field day.

dont think i will use the 1.3 crop much more, only seems to work good on big subjects close up, i think i am losing to much detail??

cattle egrets are getting more and more common

the 2 big back ponds are filling up and the 3rd (smaller) is on the go, i did have an extra look for the vermilion today (someone spotted it last week) but i didnt see it.
