took some pictures at Rebeccas dance at school, i liked the expression on the little girls face, except for the flash shadow.

Went out with the Audubon society again today, seal beach naval reserve, horrible day, rain stopped about an hour before we started, gray and overcast, so lots of so so to crappy pics.

i took a walk around the memorial garden before we left, stone at the entrance said, "Thread carefully my friend, you are walking on Hollow ground".

a golden plover, first of about 6-7 new birds for me today, i saw a few more in the scope but i am not counting them asi have no picture. Its right under the 3-4 birds on the right.

i think this is a Snow Goose (or Ross)?

a Harrier flew past and of everything went.

the kingfisher was shot thru the van windscreen as we moved along.

this was about the only bird i could get a good focus on.

a Savannah and a Large billed Savannah sparrow, another newbie.

this was the main target for the day, a Nelson's sparrow but not for me, i heard there was a Tundra Swan lurking around.

the brown spot in the center of the brush is a Ridgeway Rail, looks a lot better on the spotting scopes i got to view it thru.

one day i will get a good shot of this.
