the eagle settled at the bottom end of the lake, we could have walked around to it but the group didnt go that far.

i havent seen one of these since last summer.

when we started the walk the osprey was eating his catch, still there when we got back.

it was a quick walk and as there was no sun i left and came home, parked close to where i saw the Burrowing owl on Friday, so off i went.

Played the sounds from my app and waited about 5 mins, nothing. Saw a Western Meadowlark so i played its sound.

while shooting at the ML i saw some movement from the Burrowing owls hole.

more low light high iso pics. At least our water drought must be near an end.

i heard these before i saw them, about 50 feet away, cropped big time but i don't see them to often.

heavy handed with the color in the last one just to see?
