you will learn a lot on this site, when i joined i was still a point and shoot guy, i read everyones exif data and tried to replicate the photos.

1st (male) Kestrel this year, i waited as long as i could, i like the way it is holding his own leg.

very small ducks mike, lol, that was my work tank, the one i had lots of trouble with, but i have got it licked now, i went in over the new years break and changed out all the pebbles, came back a few hours later to clear my filter and noticed the lights on, as these are on a timer i was surprised, turns out the timer was faulty and lights were on 24/7, so bought a digital one and everything is good so far. i even cleaned my house tank, it was a disgrace:eek:

today is my 2nd year on Nikonites, i must say i am still enjoying it, made lots of friends too, thanks to all who view my thread, give me likes and general help, i appreciate it.

i liked the sticker on the truck. i have been watching this tree hoping the hawks are going to re nest in it this year, think one is on the bottom branches, maybe a crow?

Great to see Roy congrats on time working on my second year.
And I'm working on second year.
Also many friends here and learning everyday.

heard this different bird noise and saw a reddish brown flying from the ground to the trees, followed it for a bit, turns out to be (according to my book) a northern flicker.
