well at least i got to shoot my first rattler's, behind the glass i know, but!

Love the zoo pictures, Roy....and I know how difficult it can be to shoot through glass....and you did a tremendous job of making those shots look easy. Good adventure to the zoo!

Wow, a lot to catch up on here Roy. You make me feel like I'm not trying hard enough. Great shots, I just have to get to the zoo now, haven't been since long before I owned a decent camera. Keep up the good work.

cheers mike, had to do something while i was getting gas/petrol.

same for me to andrew, really wanted to go to the eagles but after my condor pics bombed (wire fence) i dont feel so bad now. Next stop will be the wild animal park.

This shot might have been decent if the shutter speed was up and i had it in focus, the bird sat there until i got out of the car then flew of.

i dont know what the Hawks are doing, two of them sitting like this, maybe drying out after yesterdays rain??

just before sunset, couldnt wait any longer, going out with the in-laws on their last night before they fly back home to Belfast.

drove past our temp river, which is on it last legs, probably dry up for the weekend, this egret was sitting there, love the reflection it made.

i was sure it wouldnt be there after slamming on the brakes and turning in after driving past it, i suppose some days we get lucky

@roy, I have never heard of an egret but I do like the reflection it made in the water.

@realuvsdolphins there are two egrets (some call it a white heron) the snowy egret smaller and the great white egret, thats the one i shot today, i think the snowy one has yellow feet?
