i think all the above posts are now visible, if i go back a page and then forward to the page again i see the pics not the attachment notice, plus it let me post these last 3 pictures which it wouldn't last night, so all is good????????

Back to the Docs today, referred the the physio, still in a bit of pain, wasn't up to taking many shots today, these are from the back yard waiting on the bbq.

two of the fattest lizards i have saw in a while, the gopher snake i had to lift of the road with a stick to stop it getting flattened.

yes @mikew lots of rattlers which i never seem to find, i did find this today though, according to google its a tarantula hawk, a kind of spider wasp, supposed to have a nasty sting to it.

i was trying to get the California Thrasher when i spotted the Tarantula Hawk

its a tarantula hawk, a kind of spider wasp, supposed to have a nasty sting to it.

Nasty? No. Their sting is stop you in your tracks, red-hot poker in the eye, wicked nasty. Classed as one of the most painful stings ever. Luckily, they are not easily pissed off and are quite handsome. They especially like Mohave milkweed.
