Great eagle shots Roy. Are they nesting in the area?


the bald eagles nest at the top of San Jacinto mt (lake hemet) i will be going up there again soon, the golden eagles i have no idea, i was told that they visit this area, hence the visit.

a few Canadian Geese, a duck and dragonfly, these are starting to re appear all over the place.

only managed two shots today, spent quite a bit of time searching this fly/bug, all with no success, so if you know what it is i would be grateful.

i was hoping it was a cicada, but dont think so?

Not a cicada, but it has nice curly antennas. Just did a search, try spider wasp. Looks like there's a variety of them.

thanks Chris, its a small wooded area which they seem to stay in, so they usually fly from one end to the other, so i see where they land. No movement about their nest yet.
