day 195 14th july

here are last nights pictures, late on posting them up.

i followed this Quail family around the brush last night, seemed to be 2 sets of parents and i counted 12 chicks at one time, not the best pictures i have taken.

half way though another male appeared and this fight ensued, off-course my shutter speed was way to slow and there was no chance of a rematch just for me.

this is the other male after the fight watching back towards the group

i have been trying to take a picture of this little guy for about a week now, he always hangs around the same rock, must be 2 inches (50mm) long and runs fast.

a flower in the local carpark from 2 different sides and a horse rider out for a canter, i wish i had spotted her sooner/closer.

I like the butterfly and the drips best, but all of them were good!

thanks Tom, there was hardly/no depth to the drip and the sun was down so i was adding a blue tint to it then decided to go purple.

day 198 july 17th

i went to check out the new local skate park and it was closed. lol, so had a walk around the place instead.

Awesome job on that airplane... Funny thing is that I was shooting the very same plane today, but I was more underneath it and the sun was going down. I'm surprised the skate park was closed. Was there a reason?

thanks Tom, they are laying new stuff on the ground to make it a little safer, should be opened again on Sat morning, i wondered why i could get parked real close to it. lol
