Day 124

Back out to Lake Skinner today, still a lack of big birds, a few Hawks and a Heron and that was it, but these are the days you have to look that extra bit to find something interesting.

i went back looking for the Road Runners, out of luck but i found away through to see the Hawks nest a bit closer.

I do Mike, even now at hand held its great, at first I couldn't work out what the OS settings were for. Now in OS1 you just hold the shutter button half way for a second and it is stable, OS2 seems to be for moving shots, still to play with that.

It says OS2 detects vertical shake, effective on subjects moving horizontal to the picture

i missed two males fighting in midair, Rebecca couldnt open the door in the rest room, so i spotted them tangling on the way back, one flew off the other went into the tree, two sets of nests in a close proximity.

i am pleased with these, getting a little better with the BIF shots, definitely harder than the 55-300.
