Those were some great shots Roy! I wish I could have gone with you. Evidently there was no shortage of willing photo subjects. Looks like you and they had a blast!

thanks guys, it was fun and i got one splash on my hood, all over my tee shirt though, i dont know how i got some of the shots for laughing, i must say the girls had more fun than the boys, they were more for the competitive side.

well that was her take on it, she seems to struggle abit at the long distance shots, but i am not complaining, i think over all she is doing good?

Ryan playing with the ball, a wild flower and i had to pull all the kids away to take a shot of the cake for the parents, they didnt want to move, just wanted to eat the cake.

dont know what this is, it swooped down and picked something of the ground and took it to the tree, i was frantically trying to take a shot, auto focus wouldnt work, turned the camera off and on, re attached the lens, still nothing, duh i must have clicked the lens to manual. i really need to get into a pre camera set up BEFORE i try to shoot,

a quick look at my raptors of west america guide, i think its a kestrel, i will be keeping an eye on that tree to see if its a nest of just a feeding place.

the last shot is just to show the crop i had to do in shot 2, even at 500mm it was abit away.

Roy....i really hear you on pre-shoot camera set up. I do the self same thing and leave my camera as I last used it then wonder why my shots are all over the place next time I pick it up :D

Nice hawk? eagle? shots :D
