That is persistence.
Well, what was I to do. I have had this on my bucket list for at least 8 years and it was obvious that I was never going to get a decent shot of one along the Blue Ridge Parkway as the blossoms was too high in the trees to get a good shot. So when I learned of this tree I knew I had to stake it out until it had a blossom within reach of the ground. Missed the shot by 1 day last year and vowed I would not miss another. Color me obsessed, but victorious.

Have some landscapes in mind and a fall shoot that has been in the back of my mind for several years and, of course, always more flowers. Have got to catch up with @wthorson.

What a beautiful job on the project Hats off to you.
Same goes for those roses as well.
Thanks for the compliment. While it may not be obvious the back 2 overhead cabinets are built on an angle to conform to the walls. That was a bear to do. In addition, the architect and the homeowner kept making changes which is why it took so long to finish the project.

Woodworking projects seem to be consuming all my time recently. This is a porch being built with a new product called Boral which is composed of coal ash residue and is supposedly

_AAA5337 - Version 2.jpga green product. This porch is now ready for paint, which i understand will be Cherokee Red, one of Frank Lloyd Wright's favorite colors. before_AAA4093 - Version 2.jpg
