Thans to both Mariynne and Roy for their kind comments. We were able to travel many a mile together the last ten years and I will only say that he was a man you could "ride the river with"

Alright, I was working in my cabinet shop on Tuesday morning when out of nowhere, a chisel wielding maniac attacked me and sliced open my left hand requiring a trip to the ER and requiring ten stitches.
I could rail against incompetent people having access to sharp instruments but i am sure I would hear from the National Chisel Assoc. complaining that I was trampling their Constitutional rights. so I will forego that but this incidence reminds me that every sharp object in the shop secretly plots against us when we lock up at night. We must exercise eternal vigilance
Still managed to get a few photos this weekend and really liked the shading on this flower. _AAA6175 - Version 2.jpg

Busy week with woodworking installation and very little time to take photos. Still, I was able to capture one nearly perfect yellow rose._AAA6332 - Version 2.jpg

And just for giggles tried converting just in Aperture_AAA6332 - Version 4.jpg

Some days, when i don't have any new files to edit, I go thru my files and try to improve on existing files. That is the joy of working from raw files. Here are 2 I think improved._AAA2392 - Version 2.jpg
I could show you the before files, but what would be the fun in that?_AAA2377 - Version 2.jpg

Tis the season of the leaves. What marvelous things they are. I am told that beautiful colors are always in the leaf but are blocked from our view by the presence of chlorophyl. When the trees sense the approach of winter the connection that joins the leaf to the tree is closed, the chlorophyl disappears and the true color of the leaves emerge. But who cares, all i know is the leaves are magnificent._AAA6680 - Version 2.jpg

These leaves look and feel feathery_AAA6676 - Version 2.jpg
