Thanks for the great explanation of where you go and what you see Pat. Now we can see why it is called horseshoe pond. It looks quite large too. Can you also access that waterway behind the pond that we can see? It looks like a large area of unpopulated land between the pond and it ( I assume it's a river?).

Thanks Vixen! That other body of water is the Merrimack River, a major North South tributary in NH. You can access the river from a little bit south (maybe a mile) from the Pond. There used to be a factory in that "space" but road access is blocked and a railway passes through there.

Glad that I did not bore everyone! :)

I found a "part" in my pocket when I got home from work Friday... had layed it by the computer. Today, while charging batteries etc, I spotted the part and took out the Sigma 105mm Macro...

Raw & rainy day today... not much shooting outside... did see the swans at the Pond but no shots, too dreary and too far out. This is what I did manage today.

I like to see stuff like this on occasion. Indeed many don't care for something like this but I like to see something different now and then. I like it.

Thanks! I like to try different things and learn from them... even if I do not do it regular, knowing how is important! :)

1st ones are at work.... 3rd shift worker checking some production parts..

These next two were parts removed from a customers tool. His molder
