Day 286 - October 13th, 2013... Sunday heading down to Downsville for my Birthday Lunch!

Bruce & Jason getting their bikes ready in the morning fog.. By the time wqe got out from breakfast, the fog had cleared..
Getting back up in the Catskill Mountains.. spotted some more in the valleys below.

Ron, nice idea... I had thought of that but hope not to be there another full year... Maybe do something like that from my new digs in GA.

Day 288 - October 15th, 2013

Lets see what I created today......

A new measuring fixture for a flexible medical part (vacuum to hold it to shape)
One of the parts we mild a fabric mesh into the plastic...

Tool on a workbench, brass fittings with blue springs... and an exacto knife at my desk...

I have a couple more... check part 2~

The leaves were at Horseshoe......

Jeff, Thank You! I had taken a couple and this was the best of them.. I used the 18-105, wished I had the 50 1.8 for the background with me.. I did have the macro (105 2.8) and maybe should have tried it also.. short of time as I was on a work break...

Day 290 - October 17th, 2013

Had a good work day, and a good (IMO) picture day...

1st couple are work shots, part of a tool on the bench... and a machining center set up to machine plastic parts..

About a week ago... I spotted this field of flowers right along the highway... I have no clue how it appeared there and
today I stopped and took a couple pics.. The area down to Greeley Park is gardens and most of the flowers there have died.

One of the flowers... and the road into Horshoe with the sun shinig through the trees...

The last 2 were at Horseshoe Pond, both are HDR images...

Day 291 - October 18th, 2013

Well, today was blunder day... I had a 3 shot bracket yesterday and neglected to take it back off bracket mode...
I took a few shots at work... they did not come out real well anyway but this killed them. I had one panorama killed but I can
take that again another day..

I discovered it when I went out to snap a few pics at break. These were all down by some tracks... The 1st came out ok, the 2nd was a bracket for HDR... I immediately saw it was still set for bracketing... Live & Learn.. at least I lost nothing of importance

Looking down the tracks where the road crosses... next 3 were in by the building on the right...

5 bracket HDR with 1.0 ev.... (Yes, I reset this one!!)

These next 2 were actually of the tracks themselves....

Day 293 - October 20th, 2013

Today, cleaned the radio room... managed to talk to Germany & Russia on 10 meters while I was cleaning... sold my Russian motorcycle & got the price I wanted... then went to the Pumpkin Fest in town.. That is where the pictures all came from (via d7100 and 18-105)
