Sitting home, processing photos and my wife hollers that we have turkeys... Looking out the window, there was a flock of about 20 in the back by the woods... I opened the window and grabbed a few shots with the D5100 and the 55-330 lens.

My wife had told me they passed through our yard the other day (but I was working). Yesterday when we were on the deck, I could hear them but never saw them.. Thanks Tami Jo, glad that you liked them!

Day 225 - August 13th, 2013....

It rained most all day and in between gray & damp.. Not a great photo day.. Here is what I managed...

Dug a couple of parts out of the retain room, always grab a picture this way!! :)

Ran out at break... decided to grab a few leaves and textures... At least it was something!

While not my best work... I was pleased that I could find and grab (what I thought) pleasing images of "Normal"
that I may not look at everyday (such as when teh sun is bright and clear skies!)

Day 226 - August 14th, 2013....

Today was a good day... nice weather, busy at work... even got a few pictures! :)


Leaving the house... Took a pic of the porchlight, why?? Because I could??? !!! :)
Sunrise as I arrived at work....

I also learn from seeing photo's from places I will never go... Western Canada, Thailand, Australia, Europe... Like you also, when I look up things on the net..

Day 227 - August 15th, 2013....

What a day... work at 4:30 am... short break and not home till 5:00pm.. limited photo ops...

I got to work and knew it was gonna be a rough picture day... so I grabbed one at my desk
Parts that we were trying to qualify to enter Production.. then at break caught this Bee

All were with my Sigma 105 Macro... I was actually quite pleased for the captures at a 15 minute break..
