Day 221 - August 9th, 2013....

TGIF Day! Also, continue to build the Ark Day! Rained buckets all day long... was not getting anything outdoors unles I risked drowning:)
Result was, I had to try and be creative...

I started in the plant ... customer owned gage on my desk (due for calibration)
Test adaptor for a small threaded part ....

Luer Taper Gage (for medical) and a bucket of runners (plastic that is ejected from the system that fills a mold)

Opened the truck door long enough to snap the rainwater washing away sand & gravel..
Water on the glass deck table when I got home...

Thanks Don! You may have trouble getting her away from that Coolpix... they are so simple to use and do a fine job!

I really loved my Coolpix S3100. Chris had to do a lot of talking to get me to upgrade to the D5100, but not so much talking to upgrade to the D7100. What a guy!!

Day 223 - August 11th, 2013.... Part 2

This afternoon, I went back out, this time to the nearby town of Londonderry...
Again, using the Tokina WA but this time attached to my D7100!

The first 3 shots were taken at a small town square....

This clocktower was up the road at the town High School...

I saw this station on the way out, liked the red and white so stopped on the way back.
One of the firefighters came out and we chatted a bit, very nice, he even offered to pull out
equipment if I wanted. I did a 5 shot bracket 1.0 for this HDR. Wanted teh shadow detail
in the Engine bays.

Also noticed a large spot in the sky (repaired it) and it was in a couple other sky shots.
I removed the lens, locked up mirror and blew off the sensor with a Giottos Rocket.
I followed that up with a Camera activated sensor clean and ran out and did some test shots.

"all gone" :)

Day 223 - August 11th, 2013.... Part 3...

Sitting home, processing photos and my wife hollers that we have turkeys... Looking out the window, there was a flock of about 20 in the back by the woods... I opened the window and grabbed a few shots with the D5100 and the 55-330 lens.
