Poor puppy, what happened? If you mentioned it, I don't remember. Hope all goes well on Wed.

I dont think I ever really did... He had an episode in Jan with what appeared to be an abcess which they drained. End of Feb, I noticed it swollen (lump) around upper canine and took him to the vets. They immediatley sheduled him for surgery for a tumor, got what they could and sent it for biopsy. The vet could not get it all as it was into/around the jawbone. It came back non malignant and extrememely rare fast growing tumor that grabs to bone & tissue. He refered us to New England Veterinary Oncology group and we met with a specialist. She indicated it would likely grow back within 6 months and recomended surgery over radiation etc. Long story short, had a CScan done, met with a board cert surgeon who confirmed surgery was best... involved removal of 1/2 the right side upper jaw bone. (Dogs recover well and function well after this). He had the surgery a week & 1/2 ago.. Pathology report came back Thursday.. Confirmed Non-Malignant and that the surgeon got it all!!! (Great news for us). Wed, back to surgeon for follow up check and removal of cone. He is playful, eats like a pig and acting totally normal!!

Sorry to be so long...

Dogs are really great about recovering from things, We have a little rescue dog that has a club foot and a withered leg but she runs almost as fast as the other two dogs and it the sweetest little baby girl you have seen.

Hope all goes well with your little boy,

Thanks Don,

I am confidant it will.. he is 11 years old... also a rescue . He is running around, playing and eating like 2 1/2 pigs! :)
That is what they indicated when I was concerned about how he would deal with with that much upper jaw (and of course teeth) removed. With the results, and how he is reacting, we are glad that we had it done...

Pat,

Please don't apologize for your industrial photos. I enjoy them. It is really interesting to see what other people do. Please keep them coming.

Thanks Jeff!
I really liked the sunrise too... one of the better ones I have done.. I Liked the flowers too .. I was afraid they may not turn out as it was a greyish day and quite windy. I was afraid they would blur.. took 2 and they were fine!

Day 123 - April 23th, 2013....

Weather wise, a Lousy Day - 41 deg F and rain (misting) most of the day. Grey and gloomy///

So, what did we do, took some inside shots!! :)

On the left, mold maintenance area... Fairly large tool (the part is 18"in diameter) taken apart for work. Notice how they hold the plates upright???
On the right, cover over barrel area of mold machine. I was looking at patterns but not impressed.

DSC_6167.jpg DSC_6176.jpg

Left is a molded case, this is about 8 or 9"'s tall. On the right is a Fixture plate for
our CMM Measuring machine (we build fixtures like an erector set). I took this for patterns

DSC_6179.jpg DSC_6170.jpg

Here are the 2 patterns I made from the plate.
Left is top (colored) and right I was holding up to light with left hand and shooting with right!

DSC_6169.jpg DSC_6172.jpg

I did run out at break and managed to get a couple birds eating someones lawn... and....

a plant blooming (maybe spring is here in New Hampshire!)
