Day 104 - April 14th, 2013....

Today was play day!!! Yep, I played around a bit... have a 3rd play option but not all components so if I go out later I may grab them, if not, I can do that one next weekend!

For today.....
Playing with Muti Exposure.... hand held, rotated camera slightly with each new shot...

Me and my two brothers reading the Tablet! :)
Not the greatest but fine to play with.

Rodgers Memorial Library in Hudson. I went out to shoot two buildings
but the other had a flea market or something on the grounds in front. I
will get that another day....

Ah, the Wing shot. Love it! Reminds me of my Gold Wing Road Rider Assoc. days, travelling the highways and biways of Canada and the U.S. My last Wing was a '91 1500CC Wing (same colour as yours, Pat). :) I DO miss my bikes! *sigh*

Oh....and I'm a lifetime member of the Retreads. :)

Had to give it up in '92. Had too many expensive hobbies. :) And yes, it's the BEST way to travel!
Started when I was 16 on my dad's army '45 flathead Harley, then on to my own: a dozen Triumph 650 Bonneville's (not all at once! LOL), 6 Harley FLH's, and 5 Gold Wings. All this over a period of about 30 years. I still love bikes. Just can't afford them anymore.

I always liked the Bonnies! My friend had one back in the 70's I think. We had 5 here last year along with a truck, suv and sports car. Sold 2 of the bikes so we are now down to 3!!

Rocky, what was the process for the multiple exposure pf you and the Ipad?

Hi Ted,

I took the 3 shots with the camera on a tripod, shooting in manual..

Loaded all 3 shots into Photoshop and pasted 2 and 3 onto 1 as layers.
Created a layer mask on the right view and then painted the middle shot in with a brush

I then did a magic wand selection on the black (checked select all layers). Turned on the left photo and then created a layer mask. That brought the 1st 2 back into the 3rd.

I saw a you tube video that did it....

I decided to crop it in close and make a little game out of it... Hope that people enjoyed and did not think it was too much of a waste, by several comments seemed some enjoyed it. I thank those that played along.

I think the uncropped version is a winner!

Day 106 - April 16th, 2013....

Had a customer Audit today so thought I would struggle for photo's... Lucked out, he was done early, zero findings so I did get down to the pond! :)

Here are the Industrial shots....
Left is a sample that was destructively inspected (cut in half)
On the right is the clamps from the other day in action on the production floor.

magnifiecent.. at the pond...

I got close to the shore and he started swimming aggresively toward me..
The left shot looks like a battleship cutting through the water!! :)

On the way out of the pond....

Saw this guy in a front yard when I circled the pond.. gave him
the old B&W treatment because of the cannon.
