If you go back to the 27th, I had posted a pic(s) on my setup to photo birds at the feeder through a window - using the the WU-1A wireless and a tablet monitor and trigger in the other room.....

Oh how we suffer for our hobbies :D

Great idea and great pictures to go with it

Thanks Mike!! :) It was fun... I was in working on the computer and had the tablet sitting here with the view of the feeder... I can trigger with the tablet and also adjust focus point but cannot alter zoom or exposure settings.. (I was set for aperture preferred)

Day 363 - December 29th, 2013...........

Another storm coming through, heavy rains now and 3-5 inches of snow possible over night. No sun at all... Grey and hazy did not help my pictures much but here are a few...

these 2 shots were on the way to breakfast around 8:30 am... I thought about doing the 1st in B&W also.. may try it later...

These 2 shots were at the restaurant... the young lady was sitting next to a window and overwhelmed by the window light
I had the D5100 with 18-105... no flash... adjusted to try and get a shot of her and then cleaned up a bit more of the bright light/dark shadows in PP (LR5)

The ugliness of Winter - fresh snow is gorgeous but old snow colored by dirt and sand is another story... not so pretty..
The 2 ornaments are made by a legally blind girl and are decorated in braille and also the tags are in braille..
She was selling as a fundraiser so our CFO at work bought a bunch as table decorations for our Xmas Party!

Tomorrow, back to work..... :(

Great job Pat. I know 365 is a lot harder than it looks. There are day I am just not inspired and I just don't have the motivation to do anything about it.

Your abilities keep growing and growing! Not only do you learn, you also apply your learning to your photography. I've read some of your replies to new information then have seen you implement the newly learned info into your photos! You are amazing that way. I'm looking forward to what you post in 2014, Pat. Happy New Year! ;)

Hark, that is very kind and also much appreciated... I try to learn and the best way for me is to implement it in a practical manner!!

365 in 2014?

Rick, I am going to start but if time gets me (work then retire then moving halfway cross country) or I just need more time to study PP (I want to improve there) then I may miss some days (ending contest) but will have a thread a keep it flowing most days (if not all) :)
