Just like in my household, the focus is always on the "Queen".

Thats absolutely how it is supposed to be... Just to let everyone know, I will be 10 - 12 hours the next 2 days and then Wed head to Savannah to visit my youngest son and 3 grandkids, youngest is only 5 weeks... I will be shooting everyday but likely will not be able to process and post until next week... so if my 365 seems bare, thats the reason but I will catch up! I will have wifi so can check in to the forum at least...

Day 15 - Jan 15th, 2013.....
A bit lame today as I had to work and then get ready for my trip.. These will also be my last until next week when I get back. I will take some everyday so will just catch up... Here is today....

I saw this metal tree in the conference room... went in this am to shoot it.
Processed it in Photomatix with added some texture and enhanced the brown as the walls were much lighter.
I liked this version, so kept it...

Now that I am back, I need to start playing catch-up. I took almost 300 pictures over the 4 full days and snapped a couple extra Wed & Sunday to make sure I had the travel days covered for my 365! Mostly family but thats what I went to see...

Anyway Day 16 - Jan 16, 2013

Inside the terminal at Manchester NH. The windows and 'lines" caught my eye.

This is also Manchester, looking outside at the snow...

The worst part of this day was due to weather delays, we missed
our connection in Dulles. Long story short, could not get out that
night... had to get a hotel... could get out 8am next morning but
from Reagan Intl., a $70 cab ride away!! It was an adventure!

Day 17 - Jan 17th, 2013

We began the day just outside of Dulles, had a car take us to Reagan
where we had a direct flight scheduled to Savannah.

This shot was while waiting for our flight at Reagan...
This flight left on time... then sat on the taxi-way for 40 minutes and
then arrived an hour later .. (Noticing a trend??0

It was great to finally arrive, we did some driving around
some neighborhoods where we may move in a year or so.
(thats another story) then pickd the kids up from daycare.

This is my son and Harper, she is 15 months

Here are Jack (3 years) and Harper playing

Pat -- I have some interesting travel stories from our trip to Hawaii, we just got back yesterday...sometimes traveling can be so stressful! We had delays and changes to our flight plans both coming and going...quite a treat...glad you had a good trip!

Day 18 - jan 18th, 2013

We had planned to take the kids to the park but Morgan wanted to get to her mothers early to help prep for the gathering. She and her family are Jewish and the gathering was for the Baby Naming. They were expecting 50 some at the house... She also wanted to get Harper down for her nap "before" the crowd arrived. My son Scott and I ran out and did some collecting of things, the Cake, Ice etc..

I had a lot of photos today, the kids at the house, lots of family at the gathering etc. Only processed a few to help get caught up.

This is a 3 shot HDR taken into the dining room at Morgan's parents. It was a bright sunny day with loads of light in through the window.

We went out a bit in the morning.. Then everyone one went to Jack's Soccer practice. That is funny to watch them at that age...

and the 2nd is Ella, 6 weeks old.
