We get wood storks here in coastal South Carolina during the warmer months. I routinely see s few at Magnolia,here in Charleston, and there are a number of mating pairs that nest at Cypress Wetlands in Port Royal SC, near Savannah.

They certainly had a lot of them. And it really surprised me how use to people these birds were. I would never be able to get that close in Ky. Of course we have only had one stray into KY in the last 3 years. But even the other birds. I have one cormorant that practically let me walk up to it. I got so close I had to back up in order to focus my camera. Here it is good luck getting within 60 yards of one.
If they're from Wakodahatchee, they're used to people. The nest right along the boardwalk and you have watch out for fresh droppings when you walk. They also hang out on the railings!

#134 Swan Goose. I went to one of the small parks near my house and someone had dropped off these geese. They are Swan geese and are native to China, I knew I had never seen a goose that looked like these. I had a little trouble getting a good photo because they walked up a hill, crossed the road just to the other side. So I had my long lens and when I got far enough up the hill they were very close and they filled the frame and then some and if I took a step back the road filled the frame. I went back my next chance and they were gone.
