PHOTO SUBMISSION RULES
1. Only one photo submission per day (24 hours). We don't want the forum to be monopolized by a single member.

2. Upload one image in your post. If you have a set of images, just provide a text link, either to your member gallery here on Nikonites.com or off-site. If you are unsure how to do this, please ask.

3. Include as much info as possible along with your image:
  • EXIF data
  • Artistic intent/summary of the photo
  • What specifically do you want feedback on?
Photo submissions will be moderated. If the above 3 items are not included along with your photo, your thread will be deleted.

Whilst we were out seeking the lions, we took a sharp turn and came across a family of white rhinos. I don't know who was more startled but if it was them - then lucky they weren't black rhinos

White rhinos - the grazers, are the bigger of the two African rhino species and are a lot more docile than their browsing relatives: the aggressive black rhinos which are far less numerous

Soon however, both might be very rare with the sad reality of the current poaching crisis...

I really liked this shot despite having missed my focus and the poor IQ (anything looks good small - I have seen the true image in Lightroom and it is not great). I think that the scene, the poses and the dust work wonders though. Maybe I will reset my settings and try a B&W to be posted later
