One of my favorite things about being retired is having the time to experiment. Recently I purchased DxO PureRAW 6 because it provides advantages in certain circumstances over Adobe with Fujifilm RAW files. I got the idea to try it with some of my favorite older Nikon low light images. I have to say I'm impressed. This is an image captured in May 2009 with a Nikon D300 and the legendary Nikkor 17-55mm and reprocessed this morning. I'm very pleased with the results from a 17 year old capture and now need to reconsider some other older images for "updating".
