Bill, I agree with Cindy, you need to get an attorney as soon as possible. If for no other reason but to put your mind at ease and help get things sorted out.

I only have less than $100 and I need that for food. So hiring anyone is not likely to happen.

Since I don't live in the US I can't give any advice and probably wouldn't anyway. But I think that Bill needs help to deal with: 1-grief of the passing of his wife and 2- how to manage the estate.

It might be a good idea to call the social services in your area and ask if and how they could help you in this difficult time. Hopefully you'll be able to find help in your area so that the loss can be accepted.

It can't be easy... so I feel sad and sorry for you Bill. But please, try to get help, real help from real people. Not that we are not real people, but you need someone you can see face to face that can have real answers to your questions about estate and survival with the low income you seem to have.

Good luck.

After I get the death certificate, I will start getting the estate and state help along with mental counsoling . lawyers are just more than I can stand to deal with, and things seem ok after talking to the credit union.

But I sure thank you all for your caring help and advice.:)

With my beloved gone, I have no real need for my new littmann master cardiology stehoscope. So I invited the last nurse that was so helpful over, and I will give it to her for her extra efforts caring attention to my sweet wife.
Maybe she can help others with this top of the line model stethoscope.:)

That is very nice of you to do that Bill. But, I would try to sell it for at least 1/2 of what you bought it for. You said you only have 100.00 at the moment.

I'm no good at selling things. I just gave it to her in hopes it might help save some other person under her care.:)

A bit of good news in this hard time, is my friend that cuts our lawn, takes the trash and trims the bushes, and any job we needed him for. Well he told me he will continue helping me regardless of the fact that I can't likely pay him much if at all anymore. God bless that man, befriending me from day one and was my best man at our wedding. We are talking of fishing together now, and I look forward to it.:)

Ps. He asked me not to move, wanted me to stick around. He though I might head back to Oregon without my beloved wife to keep me here. He was relieved that I was planning on staying here, and he wasn't going to be losing a friend.
Greg is truely a good man and a good friend.:)

I no longer can make overseas calls in my efforts to lower my time warner bill. But I finally bought a lifetime fishing liecense, and I have that to fall back on when I need to get away for a bit.:)

My neighbor Matt has asked if I will go fishing with him, offering to cook the fish too. It is hard for me, but I'm going to try to be a bit more outgoing, and this seems like a good way to start.
My friend Greg is interested in fishing with me too, so it will be interesting to see how things turn out with either friend. I just hope they aren't bothered by my fishing with each.:)

I haven't been fishing for about 30 years, so I'm at a loss of what gear to startout with. I guess I'll start using my denalli rod and a really good calcutta level wind reel. I'm not to sure what gear to use on it, but I think it will be fun even if I don't catch a thing.

My beloved really wanted me to get a liecense and to go fishing with me. But maybe my dearest love will be with me in spirit. :)

Bill I've been gone for a while & wish I'd been here with everyone else to help you. I'm so very sad to hear about your wife's passing. This will be tough, but you have friends let them help you. Use whatever community support there is. Going fishing with a friend is a great idea. Hang in there Bill. We are with you.
