I hate planning, and then having outside sources destroying said plans.
That made me chuckle a little - your pay date was always know, so bad planning on your part
Another option - surely if you've been saving up for this, then you only need a small amount from your pay on Monday to complete the savings... in which case, beg steal and borrow from family friends until Monday when you can pay them back?
Either way - hope you get your camera![]()
The sale had been advertised for so long, that I did not realize it was ending when it does. Everything was going so well, I had this feeling that something was going to screw up my plans, so I asked, just in case, to make sure the sale was not dead before Monday, sure enough, saturday is the last day, I pretty much expected for something to screw my plans. I won't borrow money, it is what it is.
There will be other "sales". Why would it be a problem to wait another week or two? When you save money to buy something, why would you spend it somewhere else just when you're so close to your goals?
Only you can answer these questions but I wouldn't worry too much since usually with DSLRs prices don't just go up and sales do happen quite often.
Follow your initial goal would be my advice.
You want a 32GB card. Really? I don't understand that. Here's a tip: stick with 4GB cards.....get 2 or 3 of them as opposed to one big card....less chance of losing a card to corruption or anything else.
Here's what to look for in a memory card: Class 6 or Class 10 (10 being the best). Stay away from anything under that. Sandisk, Kingston, Lexar are excellent cards worth buying.
Got my camera last night. I got the D3200 kit with 18-55mm, the 55-200mm, and the 32GB Sandisk Extreme card. Thanks for the help!
...I can manually do the bracketing if I want to play around with HDR. I just need some clarity on when else the bracketing would come into play.
