tamron 150-600mm rental - bird in flight - i was very lucky today. This may have been the first flight of this bird which i will call #2, #1 is out flying and #3 can just be seen in a couple of shots. I just got setup when #2 started jumping up and down and then launched. (blew that shot) #2 made a couple of circles and came back to land, #2 blew the landing so off again. 2nd landing ok. Last shot i think #2 was doing a celebration dance.

Great shots NP. Big lens is great for these, why can't you get closer, fence? I have a lake between the nest I visit, but I rent a boat to get close.

june day 28: I-90 bridge @ vantage, wa. Over the columbia river or wanapum lake. Lake has been lowered 29 feet to relieve pressure on wanapum dam. You can see bathtub ring on bridge supports.710_8759 (1000x667).jpg
