A couple from Fillmore Glen yesterday. The bridge in the second shot leads to the stairs in the first shot.

Rick, you did a great job with both of these last two photos. I have been wanting to try some of these shots myself with my grandson. You really did a very good job, I'm impressed!!! Jeff

Check out the levitation thread for more, but in a nutshell...,

Setup with tripod for a somewhat wide shot and pre focus the spot you will be in, set for continuous shooting. I cranked up the iso to 1000 for plenty of speed (1/1250-1/3200) and at about f7-f8 for some dof. The trick is to not look like you are jumping, keep your feet flat and try to maintain posture. As I jumped, wife pushed the shutter. Lots of fun :)

I tried it indoors.... not the best, outdoors seems to be a better lighting idea. But it worked! I couldn't get my cat to cooperate, but the concept worked. Thanks for the inspiration to use a new tool. I don't know what I'll do with it, but I got it.

Nice job! Thats a powerful fan!

It's just a fast experiment. I'm standing on a chair with my left hand on the back of the chair. Obviously more planing is necessary and the contact points need to be upgraded for future shots. Again, thanks for making me look in to this.

I was wondering how you pulled it off with such a slow shutter speed :), no chairs and/or photoshop allowed!!

OOOPs. How do you read my settings, like speed, etc?

And thanks for not commenting on my fashion sense. Snazzy.
