JEEEEZUS, y'all. i really can't keep up. i have to find a way to squeeze sorting and editing my pics into my daily schedule. it seems there are not enough hours in the day for all i have to do. i guess that's why it's a challenge, huh? i have been shooting every day though, so that is something i guess. more pics coming soon. i have a LOT of catching up to do. about a month behind now....
easy to think about giving up....stay tuned, i will get some up soon. hopefully today.

Cheer up Mom. In Time, the kids will grow and move out and you'll have lots of time. Only problem there is it always takes longer to do things.

Feet are way more important than we give them credit for. How'd you like to be missing one?

That last snap is pretty nice...I wish you wouldn't have chopped off his head Warrior Mom...LOL...I understand though impact and all.

Good job!

Don't give up and don't leave anyone behind! :)

i don't know if y'all can really see the detail on this, but i have to share this story. i saw this girl running from my house across our front porch one day and i noticed that her back side looked really bumpy. i was intrigued, and thinking to myself 'i've never seen anything quite like this,' i got down on her level and realized those 'bumps' on her back were in fact her offspring. i always thought spiders just had their babies and took off. i was not aware of any that carried them around for any period of time. anyway, she ran off the porch and was gone. three days later, i saw her again and was able to trap her while i ran in to get my camera. this is her inside the bottle. all i could think was 'i need to be able to zoom in closer!' i was using my 55-200mm and that was as close as i could get. what could i get that would get closer? i have to be about 2 or 3 feet away to focus with this one. so yeah, anyway, those are babies on her back.

yes, they are all free...there were fewer the second time than the first. i don't know if they became food for somebody else or if they left home. interesting nonetheless.

a little grainy. 60 watt required high iso. do what ever ya gotta, i guess. better to have the shot grainy than not at all...

it was really just poor composition--trying to get the shot while the toddler was cooperating....seems i just can't remember it all every time....:topsy_turvy: (referring way back to the post regarding cutting the top of my hub's head off)

also i am using this batch resizer because the uploader is giving me grief with pics being too large. i am not sure if it is affecting image quality, but i really think it has to be...
