My pictures were beginning to look desperate

Unfortunately, I've learn that spring does not really "happen" around here (Colorado) until mid to late June. A bit of a change from what I grew up with. Texas was hot and grew all year long. That being said, I still love Colorado.

It snowed AGAIN this morning but we had a chance to get and run some errands. On the way to get groceries we pulled into a business on the top of a hill that had a fairly good view of down town Denver. It was too far to focus in on without loosing quality in the photo so I had to use a little art to make the photo interesting. I was going for the old photo look.

I'm posting a link that is from my facebook page. This is what it looks like near where I live. I live at the bottom of the mountain where as this guy lives more up in the mountains. At least I don't have the winds like he does.

Brrrrr, at least there is a view. Having lived in Minot, ND there was little scenery. We often joked that the stae tree was an electic pole.
