Is this a friend of yours? How did you get so close? ;)
Hello Wendy, nice to have a new player in the 365 field! No, I did not know this little boy, but I did ask his dad if I could take his photo because he was so cute and working so hard at his game :) I did send them a copy. This is on our lake, and I was just walking by when I stopped to watch him. There is a committee in our wonderful town that looks after the public "rinks", some are for hockey, some are for figure skating, some just for fun. We are also making a curling rink.

I would suggest having about a hundred outlets, so there would not be any crowding of the plugged in curlers.

You know how you girls hate it when your curlers are crowded!

Hi Kim,

Thanks for the warm welcome. I feel like I'm in the right place.. a place where people love photography as much as me. :-D

I have to laugh because my comment was in reference to the deer not the actual boy. I think I may have responded to the wrong way picture. As you went on about how you knew his father and how the community is building other activities, I thought, oh my, this town really goes all out for their wildlife. After I scrolled down I saw the little boy and realized what you were talking about. Nothing like a good laugh! :-D

Lol, Wendy, this is too funny, because I kind of thought "Hmmmm, I wonder if she is talking about the deer photo" , and I almost answered it accordingly. I actually thought about it for a while before giving a reply. I apparently should have gone with my instincts. lol, So, in response to you question, I am lucky to live in an area that has an abundance of wildlife, and although I do my share of quietly sneaking up on them, I also am able to walk up very close. These deer are getting used to me, (and my car puling over) as I see them on an almost daily basis. They will run away, but are also great photo subjects :)
