the night shots im still working on. have been using the manual 50mm. the windows were shot at 1/160 iso 3200 cant remember the apeture setting. as for the clock im retaking that one because i noticed when i got home the focus was on the tree branches. AF does have its advantages. its hard to see the picture in the display to see if it does look good when you dont have your glasses.

im also going to use a tripod on the same shots. at the same time do tell me what to try to make the picture better. you might get the same shot on the next day but the picture will be better with your advice.

Tripod for sure, you won't need to crank up the ISO so high. smaller aperature, longer exposure

day 5 i retook day 1 shot to practice on my focus.

If you wanted to focus on the tour and the flag I think you missed. I see focus on the corner of the smaller building in front of the tower. It's very difficult to do manual focus in low light environment, very difficult, so don't get discouraged and keep practicing.

oh i never give up. i actualy did focus on the santa house. right now im just trying different DOF to see what looks good. and yes night focus is hard. right now im using the focus light in the viewfinder and backing off a little, that seems to work better. as for the trees i was trying to get the tree lights like the first pic. But, the lamps drowned them out.
