Love the portraits --kids, bird AND cat :) Good job!
its a stained glass filter in the program i use. you can control how many pieces are used. these programs do a lot to enhance your picture. Its time that gets in the way. thanks Helene.

I will say i new this girl since i have been delivering mail(18 yrs). she was some what "normal" back then. now she has gotten a lot worse over the years. sad to see.

did my first star trail. this was my second shot. pretty fun to do. the moon is full so will have to try again on new moon.the setting was 50mm manual lens, iso 400, f/11 18 min approx.

was going to try what axeman did with the bubbles. instead i went to the sink poured some soap in a pot. Bubbles!! Just too tired to do anything else. will try the oil shots another day.

2 shots tonight. went out and did a couple star trail shots and the moon. star trail was with the 28mm and the moon was with the tamron 70-300.

Good snaps from one of my fave Nikonites! (Because you use your old lenses more than your kit lenses lol) I'm going to have to go by me a cheapo deapo tripod and make some of those star trail shots...

thanks Jeff. the star trails were fun. Waiting for a clear sky and no moon. also looking around for a good foreground shot. I just dont get the quality pics with the kit lenses. It was nice to have the manual ones fall in my lap.
