Day 132, 2013 - Pink Bug

Saw this little bright pink bug crawling around inside this flower. I soooo wanted to have a lens at that moment that could have really captured this guy. His color isn't exactly the best but it's because I had to do a lot of manipulation to make the guy stand out more.

Day 133, 2013 - Cannondale Disc Brake

Had the bike up on the stand doing a little brake work when I though this might make for a cool picture. Gently spun the wheel to keep the frame from bouncing and let the rest blur.

I finally figured out how to shoot with the bum shoulder today and after shooting for a little while my wife put her nikon l120 down and took my D5100 away from me and shot about 400 to 500 more shots. She did good with them to. She was looking through them this evening and said it was easy to get great photos with a good camera. I am in trouble. Maybe I give her the 5100 and get me the 7100

Something with this picture I like :) What lens would be able to pop the little red guy out? And I wonder, which lens for getting like REALLY close?

We ran away from the kids for the weekend. Here is MoabLady relaxing after a great dinner and just able to breathe and relax.

You will laugh. The wife and I are such nerds we are taking pictures of the room... when we post them up you will get a laugh. And thank you, she is a great lady, wonderful mother, and proud to have her as my wife and fellow nerdy best friend.

Day 138, 2013 - Bear Lake, Utah

Proud of this one. Turned out really nice. Bear Lake is a high altitude natural mountain lake with beautiful blue water... and cold!
