Day 100, 2013 - Woohoo! I've made it 100 straight days and learned so much.

Here at Hill A.F.B. we have a train depot that restores and maintains military trains. Here are two of the four Army trains currently here. Trying to catch the Navy train.

You plan and setup to shoot a sunset and they never flair up like they do on the days you're unprepared. This is the best piece I could catch as I was not in place to shoot the sunset itself.

And I shot this because I just love this birch tree.

Day 102, 2013 - Let there be light!

Sat there looking at this brightly burning light and wanted to see how I could catch it illuminated but not putting out any light. Cranked up the aperture and the shutter speed.

Continued...

A sunset on day 102. No spectacular colors but the incoming storm made for some interesting clouds and contrast.

Day 105, 2013 - Crazy Color

I was watching the sunset waiting for something spectacular. As I sat there nothing showed and I started to pack up. Glanced over my shoulder and the sky literally shifted colors for one quick splash of color before fading. Can't tell you how fast I was unpacking to catch the colors.
