I know the feeling about no bike riding. Doctor said no riding for 3 - 4 weeks after I busted my elbow. Waited one week and was back on. The leg has got to be a lot worse.

The calf sucks because the leg can't be isolated and has to go around which irritates the tissue. Trade you a calf for an elbow?

Day 165, 2013 - Take My Picture!

I was hobbling around, in violation of the doctors orders, to get my daily photo. I liked the color of the flower and its damaged condition when this little bee popped in. No matter what I did he wanted to be in the picture and I was only too happy to oblige and take his picture.

I have had Knee Replacement, lumbar laminectomy and now the Rotator cuff repair. They all are bad in their own way. I think the back is the worse because it never fully gets back to normal. Legs are bad because you are either on a walker or having difficultly getting anywhere. Arms (shoulder) is bad because you can't eat, wash or wipe correctly because it is your right shoulder and you are right handed.

I feel for both of you. GET WELL SOON and do what the doctor tells you.

What lens did you take that with?? So sharp and vivid colors!

35mm prime. Wished, as I was having my temper tantrum over it, that I had the wifes 40mm micro.

Thats good, and yes the Macro would have been nice!! I have some real sharp closups with my 35 prime.. been using the 50mm prime more lately but not getting as sharp an image as I did with the 35 on Closeups... I will likely go back to the 35.

Interesting. You have the same conclusion I came to over the IMO overly coveted "nifty fifty."

Day 166, 2013 - Bridge Replacement

Coming home from the drive-in and saw the bridge being replaced at 1 a.m. and figured this would be a great shot.
