There is a small open 12x20 area (I guess you could call it an atrium) It is open to the elements. Last summer the company put some tables and chairs out there. Today they decided to put some potted plants out there. Here's one of them. As usual I have no clue what it is but it smelled pretty.

Today is May the Fourth. So for any of you out there who are possibly Star Wars Fans, May The Fourth Be With You.

Now for today's photo. Once a month an engineer brings in Doughnuts for everyone to enjoy. These are Spudnuts They are made with Potato flour. Yum!

That is a very nice appealing looking snap sir but I'm sorry spudnuts are yuck! LOL

My wife prefers them to regular ones...she is a potato flour freak! Whatever makes her happy...a happy wife is a happy life! :)

Wife went to some yard sales today. She found this Minolta XG1 with a 50mm 1.4 and a 70-200mm 4.5 (for nearly nothing). All I can say about it right now is that the batteries are dead so I'll have to buy those and I'll have to find somewhere to get film to try it out. Never used a film 35mm before so I'm looking forward to rolling a couple of rolls through it.

Check the seals...you'll probably have to get new ones they are about ten bucks google John Goodman...order you some good film like Fuji 160S or superia reala 100 or from adorama or someplace...you are fixing to find out what they meant by saying "only from the mind of Minolta"... :)

I own a Rokkor lens...it is fixed in a 1962 or 3 model Ansco made by Minolta rangefinder...Rokkors rock!

And yes the strap is worth 30 bucks and is pretty groovy... lol

I was out running errands this afternoon, when I realized I was only 7 miles from the mountain top. It's been overcast all day so I didn't expect much but I did drive up there. Since I'm old, I get into the park for free. Other side of the mountain turned out to be sunny, with fog rolling down from the top of the hills. This is about the best I could get.

Couldn't decide which one to use today. The purple Irises started blooming this week so I had to get a shot of them. On my way to them I saw the mushrooms and took a few shots of those. I decided to post both of them.

OK, here is yesterday's picture. It was a hectic afternoon back at the Vet for a whole new round of chemo. He had this wire sculpture tucked back out of the way. I think it should be called "Hungry Cat"

WOW (Laura and Pete) You guys are smart. Looked up Hen of the Woods and the pictures are almost identical. I wish I had been born smart instead of so darn good looking.

Day One Hundred Thirty Two

Lots of shopping after work today. Have a Mothers Day/Family Reunion on Sunday. I discovered I have nothing that fits anymore. I quit smoking about 3 years ago and needed to go out and buy some "Husky" size pants. (LOL). No time left for photos. Anyway. Nuff said about my getting fat, today's photo is of a candy bowl I keep handy for my sweet teeth. I say Teeth because I have more than one sweet tooth.
