Day One Hundred Ninety Four.

To be honest, I really didn't feel like carrying the camera today. It's no wonder I didn't feel like looking for something to shoot. I was sitting in the car waiting for the wife to come out of work and this enormous SUV pulled up and parked. The bright red GMC just kind of caught my eye. I said to myself... Problem Solved.

I had a doc appt before lunch so I stopped and picked up some fast food to take back to work. When I got there, two of my coworkers were at the outstide picnic table eating so I joined them. Melissa (left) has a D7000, so she suggested I take a shot of her and Jen. I think it turned out well. Both are lovely ladies.

Day One Hundred Ninety Six.

Went on a tourist bus trip yesterday. Mount Airy North Carolina (aka. Mayberry RFD). It was not a warm day but I still had to feel a little sorry for these mules standing harnessed all day and pulling a wagon with sightsee'ers around the city streets.

Mike....isn't your Garman upgradeable? Or is it really that old? Maybe check out their website for updates to the software of your old Garman. Just a thought. :)

Wow... Didn't know you were that close. This was a bus trip so we had a tour guide. Believe it or not, it was Barney himself. (or a reasonable facsimile). He was quite into his character too.

Comparing my old Garmin with the current GPS systems is like comparing an old rotary phone with today's new smart phones. I had never thought about updates, so I'll check on that tomorrow. Thanks Jack

I'm going through some bad times here. Nothing I do seems to work out. It's kind of like writers block with a camera. Anyway, I was watering the garden when this Idea hit me. My intention was to catch the rainbow effect from the reflected sun. I was by myself so I had to experiment with the focus. Not a prize winner, but at least it qualifies for today.

Day Two Hundred (even)

Wow! 200 straight days. Congrats to all who have made it this far.
Got a big thunder boomer on the way so I had to do something quickly. Here's a Cavalier Bear. One of the many things related to the University of Virginia that keep showing up at my house.

Day Two Hundred Two

I've been taking photos... Honest! Just haven't gotten online to post them. My other problem is health issues have kept me from wandering about looking for shots so I'm sort of taking whatever I can get.

This one is the new "Expresso" machine the company bought at the request of those who are too good to drink regular coffee. I tried a cup, took a sip and poured it out. It even has a thing to steam your milk to put in your expresso. If I want hot milk, it better have cocoa and marshmallows in it.
