Well, I'm shopping for a lens, too. I almost got out of the camera store with the 24-70 2.8. The only thing I don't like about it besides the price... is the weight and the looks of it on a camera. It's humongousley big.

Very nice Helene. I saw a flower blooming in our flower garden this morning. It was raining hard, so I spared the camera. I feel I need to submit a flower since most of you have been doing that lately! I'm anxious for Spring!

Thank you all for your comments . . . makes me feel good! Nothing blooming outside . . . wind just pummels everything . . . all blooms are potted and in the house.

You had rain. We had SNOW here!!! :( I'm dieing to take a few shots of flowers and blooming plants and trees, but Mother Nature is not cooperating at all this spring! :( I'm getting cabin fever here, it's been such a long drawn out winter. :(

I love the flower, is it just me or are pink and red flowers hard to make look good in a photo? I get some heavy saturation or something....
The Chuckwagon Kitchen is a nice shot too, nice and clear and great lighting.
