I am reluctant to intrude on what is obviously an attempt at sharing a very special pain and memory.

How-ever, I have to agree with Jack. This is beautiful. Especially blanking out her "normal" name and using only her real name, "MOM".

Consider this a really wide hug!

Thanks for all the lovely comments. My mom taught me photography, among so many other things. My best friend and I miss her.

Marcel, yes, I believe the lens is stuck on the camera. do you think their insurance company will believe that?

Well, to add to my computer woes, lightroom has stopped putting watermarks on the pics.
Too tired to work on it tonight . . ."tomorrow is another day!"

"Sharing"

Spent most of the day getting rid of malware and cleaning up the registry and other computer stuff (crap cleaner --thanks for the recommendation, Jack)
. . . and dealing with wayward dogs and horses . . . I don't know what was in the air! Barely got this one in "under the wire."

Well at least you've got the watermarks back... Computers... I sometimes can hate them as much as I can't seem to be without one.
Nice pic of your nice dog.

Nice shot Helene, and a very well maintained barn too. Can't help but to notice no "Cribbing marks" on those rails. Whoo, yes the Axeman knows quite a bit about horses. I used to own a Hunter Jumper with my ex-wife. She used to show jump him and did Dressage. One of my goals this year is to shoot an "English" show, it's been a long time since I was around the "old" horse stomping grounds, and a road trip is in order for some action shots.

Could you get your friend to share her shot? Be interested what she got this close.

This is a friend's brand, new barn. The horses just moved in and the wood is not going to stay that way for sure. The other horse has already started nibbling the wood.

She was trying to get his eye with the macro.
