Excellent shot, Jen! I love how the tree branches are "everywhere, in different directions, and there's that little piece of sky showing.
This looks like the "dangerous" kind of snow, the kind that hangs on and then snaps power lines and tree branches. I hope not.

The snowman's eyes are sweet gum seed pod things, from Sweet gum maple trees. One of my pictures from earlier is one of those close up in BW. I thought it would look funny using them for oversized eyes.

The snow is that heavy stuff that breaks branches, luckily, in my neighborhood, the power lines are underground. We have lost a few branches, but nothing too bad.

I've got one of those damn trees in my yard and I GUARANTEE y'all that's the ONLY things those ding dang things are good for!


Oh - great shot, Jen. Come on out to Texas any time you want some more eyeballs.

Oh, I certainly don't need to see any more of them! We have 2 of those trees in our yard and they drop those balls all year long. As soon as we can afford to have them taken down they are gone!

Thought I'd try something different here. Took a shot today of the snow covered road near my place. It was still snowing as of yesterday afternoon. Then I played with this shot in Paint shop Digital Pro X3 and came up with this. It's called "Hot Wax Treatment". :) What do y'all think? :)
