OK. I am not seeing a lot of Rick's pics . . . it's only this thread. Instead of the photo, this is what I get. anybody have an idea of what's going on?

FILE MANAGER CLOSED THEN REOPENED

Helene, if it helps I'm cross posting on Facebook. Funny you should bring this up, I'm having a hard time posting too. This is what the upload manager is doing to me at this point it hangs up, I have to close it and reopen it, then I can insert my file. Seeing how it's isolated to me it must be on my end but I have no clue what it is. Anyone have any thoughts jump in.

I haven't had any trouble seeing any of Rick's shots. But then agian, I'm beginning to see pink and gray elephants so maybe it's me :)

When I try to upload using the Image icon, I select the shot, then hit Upload..........it just hangs. I have to use the Basic Uploader and it works fine. Other than that, that's the only problem I have with uploading.

Don't worry Rick, Turkey Tail Lichen Mushrooms are not in the controlled substances (yet). So go with it freely... "Don't drink and drive, just eat 'shrooms and fly!!!!" Cheers!!!

This is a great subject for this week's challenge. It seems so right. Great shot Rick.

Sorry, let me explain my like. I like the fact you were able to see a track grinder at night, I don't like the fact you missed the shot.

I have two major railroads that run through my town, an average of 100 trains a day pass through. The last time they were grinding it was a Sunday afternoon, and I didn't have a camera with me.

It's quite a spectacle too see grinding at night.

i had my camera but couldnt stop. that was the first time i saw one around here. we went from a 2 track system to one in the last 10 yrs. still have a small depot here. i used to live so close to the tracks that our trailer actually hung over the fence. trailer would rock every time it passed. will have to get more pics of the trains and old depots that are still around but not in use.

I wonder if that's what I hear once in awhile on the LIRR & I live a mile & half from the Valley Stream Station & about half mile from the Westwood station of a different line of the LIRR.
Needless to say they run hundreds of trains on the valley stream line every month.!!
