Single shot RAW, hand held at 1/20sec at 21mm. Right on the edge, got lucky no tripod used. Heard how slow the shutter was and hoped it turned out. Getting better at RAW adjustments and filters I guess :)

Going to try again Friday night with my 35 f1/8 and a tripod with the lights on, depending on the crowds.

Big happenings this weekend Carnival, Bands, Parade, Drive in Fly in at the airport, and a Car Show. All less then five minutes from the house, and I'm off work. Been waiting all year for this weekend.

Last photo in the gallery was taken form the top of the Rochelle Ladder Fire Truck. Took me a minute to figure it out. Duh, the Fire Department is right there.

Yeah I know, I'm a day behind. Enjoying my first real weekend off in two and a half years. I feels good to be walking with the living for a change, and not out all night like a vampire.

Friday was my one year anniversary of being a active member of this board. I have really enjoyed my stay here, and I want to thank each and everyone of you for sharing your knowledge and your comic relief.

Looking forward to my next year here on Nikonites :D

Congratulations Rick for the one year. I wish you many more.
Nice shot with the 35mm. I try to get out once a while with just one prime lens and sometimes you comeback home with very nice imaginative shots. It forces you to look a little more and walk to get to the shot you want.
