Day 93
Bridges:

Bridge Out
This is the main bridge in and out of town that goes over four sets of railroad tracks that handles over 100 trains a day. Starting today for the next 90 days it is closed for repairs. Luck for me I don't use this bridge that much.

Day 94
Bridges:

Very common style of "Bridge" in Illinois, some people many call this an Overpass if they were driving in a car going across the top. The Engineer of the train many call this an underpass, because he is going under. People in Illinois are so confused.

In my opinion and Overpass is something that was built up to span a space. An Underpass would be something that was dug out to and goes under a span.

Most true underpass in Illinois flood when it rains hard, turning them into a 13-foot deep swimming pool for cars and trucks.

Day 95
Got you. You little pecker.

For the last three days everyone around the house keeps saying, "Look at the Woodpecker" and every time I get up and look, no Woodpecker. Well today pulling up to the house after shopping right there on the parkway tree there it was right at eye level. Of course as soon as I got out of the car it took off. Well got my lawn chair out and set it up about 12 feet away, and waited for it to come back. Didn't take long about five minutes and there it was, just wish it was a sunny day. Going to try again in full sunlight, like to make this one better than it is.

UPDATE:
Upon further review of the play this is a Yellow-bellied Sapsucker (Sphyrapicus varius) it's a medium-sized woodpecker found in North America, Central America and the Caribbean.

That's an excellent shot! More sun may have had a negative effect, (shadows, ect) sometimes overcast is better. I can't imagine improving it any, The detail in the bark is nice also. Nice work.

Is there anyone who does not have a woodpecker this year? Ours is quite large (8" to 10" tall) His/Her favorite place to make noise is the gutters along the roof of my house. Weekdays it's not bad. We're gone befor daylight (by 5 am). Weekends it is a rude awakening, with its Ratta tat tatting on that aluminum just outside the bedroom.
