Post your ultra-wide angle shots

It's overcast and dismal here today, so..... I decided to do a little experiment.

I took two photos. Both with my D5100. One with my 16-35 f4 and one with the 18-55DX lens.

I used the two hanging pots as a reference and used the P setting for both. The resulting JPEG photos have not be post-processed and are exactly as they came out of the camera.

The 16-35FX....

While the 16mm to 18mm is close enough not make much of a difference, The FOV and quality is quite different.

This is a "corrected" version with post processing. Which lens was used for this photo? The $1400 FX, or the $100 DX?

Well, you have a 50/50 chance of choosing correctly, but if you aren't 100% sure, then the expected results are correct.

Ted,The FX lens wins this one.The flowers in the baskets are more in focus and of course there's more in the picture using the FX lens.

I tried lens correction in PS, I dont really get it - do you use correction tools?
